Show off your Lace

shop the look:

I love this white skirt because the slit shows the lace detail underneath. When I first ordered this, I thought it would be so versatile for Spring because I could dress it up or down and I always get a ton of wear out of mini skirts. I also knew it would be perfect being that I am a bride-to-be in case I need it for something along the way! I love this skirt because it is all a part of the show off your lace trend that I love right now. I can’t get enough of it on camis, skirts, and even dresses. It’s so romantic and sexy at the same time.

Speaking of getting a ton of wear out of something. I literally live in this t-shirt. I am wearing it now as I type this post and have it in five of the TEN colors it comes in because it is so comfy. T-shirts are THE best in my book. You could dress this one up even more by throwing on a statement necklace and/or a jacket.

These shoes have been on my feet nonstop since I got them. I LOVE them in black, too. Plus, they are currently on sale. They are such a good shoe for transitioning between seasons and they are really comfortable.

My poor fiancé had been getting sick last week so this weekend was definitely more of a restful one for him. I had a fun photo shoot for a great cause (that I can’t wait to share with you all) on Friday after work, then I picked up some thai food, and drank wine on the couch with a girlfriend and our pups. Charles got home after getting drinks with a friend who was in town and we went to bed early. I got to sleep in until around 10AM on Saturday which was amazing. Then, I got my eyelashes done at Amazing Lash, ran some errands (including a trip to the mall for some new things you’ll see here soon & some home decor from Home Goods). I came home and we cleaned, then picked up some Indian food, and watched Moonlight. Sunday I had brunch with some new blogger friends for a fun collaboration with ShopBop and then shot a few looks despite the gloomy weather. I organized my closet a bit more (Saturday’s errands also included The Container Store.. aka my OCD side’s idea of heaven), saw the new 50 Shades movie with a girlfriend, and caught up on some blog work while my fiancé and I watched some television before hitting the hay. It was a super relaxed but also busy and fun weekend. I love weekends like that! It’s a great mix of spending time with friends and family and getting things crossed off the to do list before the work week ahead. I have this week to get through and then… Spring Break! Woohoo.

Hope you all had a wonderful week and that your Monday is off to a great start. XO

I love both pieces! That skirt is the most adorbs. And the tee has a funky diagonal ‘print’ going on that I’m really feeling. Awesosme!
