Hands down this is my favorite outfit combo ever. Nothing is more chic and versatile than jeans and a classic white button down. The options for shoes are endless! You can wear this combo with sneakers, flat or heeled booties, heels, or over-the-knee boots. Any color will work! I love this look because its a blank canvas for all of your accessories. Go bold or keep it simple, anything works with this as classic as it comes look.

A white button down is definitely worth investing in. I think I wear this one at least one a week! Silk or silk blends are my favorite fabrics. They feel most luxurious and classic to me. A silk button down will last for years to come. In case this one is out of your price range, check out this one or this one, both under $100!

There are a lot of fun ways to change up your white button down. One way is to layer over it like I did below. I kept looking for the perfect high waisted pant to pair with this plaid tube top and while I’m still on the hunt, I wanted to show how to style it over a button down in the mean time. Another option is of course layering a classic leather jacket or even a sweater.

Classic White Button Down via A Lo Profile. Layer under your button down with a cami top or a fun lacey bra like this one. For a night out, I love pairing a bold color bralette like a wine colored one and then matching your shoes, lip color, or another accessory to it so it all ties together.

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We had date night on Friday because Charles had a wedding he was in on Saturday just outside of his hometown. He wasn’t able to take off of work early on Friday to make it down, so since he was just going for twenty-four hours I decided not to go. Its a 6.5+ hour drive and I wanted to be able to stay home with our pup, catch up on some work, and relax after a busy last few weeks. I’ve still been adjusting to waking up at 5AM for workouts so I live for sleeping in on the weekends now. Yesterday was such a great day. I slept in and got some great puppy snuggles, took Maddie on a little run (I’ve been doing the Couch to 5k app to try to get back up to running 3ish miles at a time), ran errands, baked pumpkin chocolate chip bread, cleaned and did several loads of laundry, got some blog work done, cooked dinner, and snuggled on the couch with my husband. It was a perfect Sunday. Being in bed by 9PM was a dream, too. I’m looking forward to a productive week ahead! Plus, I think our new bedroom furniture will be here today or tomorrow. I can’t wait! Hope all of your weeks get off to a great start. XO
