I love a good mini dress and honestly, my favorite version is the long sleeve mini dress. I am obsessed with wearing them in the Fall with booties. As the temps continue to drop, I love them with OTK boots and with jackets. I think it’s the juxtaposition that I love so much. Similar to my love for shorts and sweaters, I just love mini dresses for Fall. This dress was a no brainer for me. I love the velvet burnout detail. I love that it comes with a slip dress underneath it, too. You could totally wear the slip dress under other clothing and wear this dress with a cute bralette and with denim shorts or something. I was so obsessed with the pearl detail on the sleeve and I wanted to play off of it with white booties. It’s subtle details like the pearl buttons on this dress that just make clothing pieces for me. It shows how much thought goes into the pieces! My photographer leaves town for two weeks tomorrow, also so after work today we are shooting several looks. Then, I have to finish packing up our apartment. We FINALLY move tomorrow. I feel like I’ve been living with boxes in our apartment in chaos for so long, even though its just been a week or so. I’ve never moved on a week day when I have work, so my husband and I are sort of tag teaming it. I can’t wait to get this process over with and then take the weekend (I luckily have a three day one ahead) to get organized and decorate. As much as I hate this process, I love getting rid of things we don’t need and getting reorganized! Hope you’re all having a great week so far! XO
