#TBT Palm Springs Recap

Happy #TBT. Today, I’m going back to two weekends ago when a big group of my blogger babes and I jetted off to celebrate #lastthrillerformiller and sharing everything from activities, to restaurants, and outfits in my Palm Springs recap. First things first, a lot of people asked me why Amanda has only blogger friends. Haha! This is not the case. She decided to have two bachelorette weekends: one with all of her blogging friends and one with her other friends. We are all working on our blogs and shooting looks when we travel, so I imagine the two trips looked very different! On that note, I had ohhh so much fun planning outfits for this trip. What better excuse to go alll out on new stuff than when headed on a bachelorette trip with ten bloggers AND a photographer? I’ve got a lot to break down between outfits, activities, and other fun stuff so I’m going to be doing it by day!

Thursday

This was my travel look. I don’t looove wearing shorts on plans (because #germs) butt it was too hot to even think about packing pants. I had my trusty denim jacket with me to sit on. How perfect is this sweatshirt for a trip to Cali? It’d be great for a beach vacay, too! It’s really light weight so not bad for the Summer and just the right amount of coverage for the cold planes.

We got in a little bit late so we cooked dinner and drank wine at the house in our pajamas and played games. I didn’t get a pic in my pajamas for the weekend, but they were perfect! They had a cactus print on them and also come in a few other color and print options. You can shop them here. If you didn’t see this post on our amazing HomeAway house, be sure to check it out. It was SO gorgeous and perfect for our big girl group.

FRIDAY

The next morning we woke up and had coffee and a casual breakfast. This little mini dress is perfect to throw on for any quick outfit. I kept it casual with my black flats and this straw bag, but it looks SO adorable dressed up with wedges or heels, too. It’s on the shorter side, particularly for me because I have a long torso.

After breakfast we hung by the pool all day! Around noon, Manservants (yes, thats a real thing) rang the door bell and were there to help us with whatever we needed. They made us drinks, got us sunscreen, and provided us with a little shade from the sun as needed. Y’all, this is SUCH a fun thing to do for parties. They are available in LA/Palm Springs and NYC right now and are too fun. They were so nice and respectable and I’m so glad we had them for our pool day! It was so nice getting to actually all sit by (or in) the pool and relax rather than constantly getting up to get something.

We had pizza for lunch that afternoon and snacked around the house while drinking some yummy Macauley Vineyard wines (my favvvv red wine!). This little two piece number was definitely a favorite of the trip. I love that you can adjust the skirt to show off what part of your midsection that you want. You can also adjust the skirt and top so nothing shows! Totally up to you. This top would look so adorable with high waisted shorts in the Summer, too and this skirt has endless options. The shoes I’m wearing also come in black and have been 40% off lately. They are one of my go to shoes because they are so darn comfortable.

For dinner that night we went to Trio restaurant. It was SO delicious. We all had delicious cocktails and more wine, plus some amazing appetizers. One of the girls and I shared the pot roast (to die for) and the ravioli of the day. Everything was awesome and it was definitely a fun, lively spot. After dinner we were all in a food coma and headed back to the house to get back into PJs. We surprised Amanda with a lingerie shower that night and played some fun bachelorette games. Some of us stayed up pretty late hanging out, drinking wine, and eating Oreos. Whoops! You can see more from this look in this post.

SATURDAY

The next morning we all got up and got ready to have a little breakfast. This black romper has to be one of the easiest little pieces I (now) own. It comes in several other colors and is so light weight and the hat was the perfect little something to make it a little more vacation like. I borrowed this bag from my friend and absolutely LOVED it. The exact one seems to be sold out, so I linked similar ones for you below.

After breakfast we did a little sight seeing, which included going to take photos at the famous pink door in Palm Springs. I opted for a less cliche photo opp this day and posed across the street. These wedges are the most comfortable things ever and come in four colors. They were perfect for walking around and sight seeing a bit in Palm Springs that morning.

Next, we went to brunch at Norma’s at The Parker hotel. This hotel is iconic Palm Springs and is basically a dream. Jonathan Adler designed it and every corner is impeccable. I went to Norma’s my last trip and insisted we go back. Their tuna salad sandwich is the best I’ve ever had! We also got the lobster mac and cheese which was awesome. All the food there is so amazing, so I’d definitely recommend it on your next trip. Just be sure to request a table inside! It was reallllyyy hot that day and we were a little dehydrated, so we cut our lunch a little short to get back into the A/C and then go home to get in the pool. You can see more from this look in this post.

Following brunch we had more time in the pool on our floats and really took the motto ‘Rosé all day’ to heart with our delicious Whispering Angel rosé. Our cute customized hats are c/o Hats by Olivia! You can basically get whatever you want put on them. I’m thinking I may need a cute little “La Dolce Vita” hat for Italy this Summer. And yes, alll ten of us fit on that one pool float in the picture below. You definitely can’t see my adorable PilyQ swimsuit in these pics, but its reversible and I’m obsessed. It is linked below!

That night, we went to Viet 533 Fusion for dinner. It was SO very delicious and the service was amazing. We had tons of different appetizers including lobster popcorn (a new favorite) and tons of creative lettuce rolls. I am a HUGE fan of pad thai, so I didn’t venture far outside the box and ordered shrimp pad thai. It was so good! I wore this fun sequin dress out that night because after dinner we went out to sing some karaoke. I’ll be doing a full blog post on this dress & how you can dress down sequins to wear them more often ASAP. I looove this dress.

After we sang our little hearts out, we made a run for some late night snacks and hung out at home. As you can tell, we all had the boy band pose down and of course, our singing was gorgeous. Ha! I heart this picture and all the girls in it. You can see a few more group photos and read all about the collaboration > competition mindset that this group has here

SUNDAY

This was my last day in Palm Springs, so the morning was spent making the most of our time, like getting in a little putt putt at the mini course at our house.

We all wore our chosen Kiini suits in the pool that morning thanks to Everything but Water. Amanda originally had an adorable white one so we could let her stand out as the bride-to-be, but unfortunately left it at home! Christina left early that morning and was nice enough to leave hers for Amanda to wear! Although I’m not on him in this picture, the pink flamingo was my fav of our FUNBOY floats. I named him Frankie and was oh so sad to leave him behind. Frankie, I miss ya and no pool day will be the same with out you.

We hung around the house until it was time for Jaime and I to head to the airport to catch our flight. I wore this easy off-the-shoulder blue top. I love the bright color and the lace material. These wedges are one of the most comfortable things ever, I left with more than I came with thanks to so many of the amazing things sent, so wearing the shoe that took up the most room in the suitcase was KEY! haha

All of our fun cups and drink stirrers you’re seeing in all the cups are thanks to Swoozies for the fun gear and Studio Noel for all the festive drink stirrers. Our fun striped towels were c/o of Kassatex and I am ohh so in love with so much stuff they have! Bouqs made sure our house looked and smelled amazing by delivering us fresh flowers for the weekend. Seersucker provided us with some gin and vodka for the weekend in case anyone wanted something besides wine. Also, thank you so very much to Show Me Your Mumu, Pily Q, Everything But Water, and Kaohs Swim for all the clothes/swimsuits sent to us. I didn’t get a great shot of my Kaohs swimsuit, but I got this adorable white and denim one and can’t wait to pack it with me for my honeymoon this summer!! Everything sent to us was too cute and the best part is that I already love and own all of these brands. These amazing companies, along with those mentioned above, HomeAway, and the restaurants made our amazing weekend in Palm Springs possible. While we were provided with these products, all opinions about them are my own!

If you’re headed to Palm Springs soon, be sure to check out all of these amazing restaurants or reach out if you need any other recommendations or have questions. We all had so much fun together celebrating our sweet bride to be, that we are already planning our next girls’ trip.. even if we don’t have a big occasion!

Hope you’re all having a wonderful week! Thanks for stopping by. XO
